Officer, Child Welfare Team, Digital School Program
Position Summary
The Officer, Child Welfare Team will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall welfare of students under the Digital School Program. This includes budget planning, student support, communication with stakeholders, data management, and assisting in academic and emotional development initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and manage budgets for activities and events.
- Coordinate with HQ, schools, and sponsors to execute events and activities.
- Prepare, review, and edit student birthday charts, cards, and letters for sponsors.
- Draft and edit content to meet interdepartmental requirements.
- Prepare report cards for JAAGO graduate students.
- Communicate with JAAGO graduates, prepare budgets, and maintain expense logs to support their higher education.
- Manage, check, and update student data accurately.
- Collect and organise all necessary documents for students’ registration purposes.
- Counsel students as needed to support their academic and emotional well-being.
- Track student records and maintain data accurately.
- Assist in the JAAGO admission process.
- Conduct field visits to schools and other locations as required by the organization.
- Perform any other official tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduation from a UGC-approved university. A major in Education, Development Studies, Social Work, IR, Psychology, or English will get preference.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in student welfare, child development, or a related field (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may apply).
Additional Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bangla.
- Ability to handle challenges and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience in fieldwork or working with communities is preferred.
