Position Summary

The Impact Investment Specialist will build and manage strategic relationships with companies, business networks, and CSR teams to secure long-term educational investments in JAAGO Foundation’s students. This role reframes child support as a high-impact social investment aligned with corporate values focusing on partnership development, donor stewardship, and campaign co-creation that inspires purpose-led giving.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Partnership Development  

  • Identify and prioritise potential corporate and SME partners, locally and internationally.
  • Initiate outreach through meetings, events, LinkedIn, and JAAGO networks to build interest in child-focused investment models.
  • Pitch customised partnership packages that fit with companies’ CSR, ESG, or employee engagement goals. 

CSR & Cause Marketing Integration  

  • Co-create campaign ideas with corporate partners (e.g., “Sponsor with a Purpose,” “Employee-to-Investor” programs).
  • Liaise with Communications and Design teams to develop co-branded materials for joint visibility.
  • Coordinate onboarding, formal agreements, and activation plans with partner companies. 

Relationship Management & Donor Care  

  • Serve as the key contact for corporate investors, maintaining warm, professional, and long-term relationships.
  • Share impact stories, updates, and tailored reports to keep partners engaged and inspired.
  • Plan periodic engagement touchpoints (calls, visits, events) to nurture collaboration beyond donation.

Internal Coordination  

  • Work closely with the Digital Investment Strategist to align messaging across channels.
  • Coordinate with Fundraising, Child Welfare, and Comms for alignment in data, messaging, and child profiles.
  • Contribute to departmental learning, team reflection sessions, and pitch library development. 

Performance Indicators  

  • Number of new corporate investors onboarded
  • Volume of investment generated from corporate partnerships
  • Number of partnership activations (campaigns, employee drives, etc.)
  • Corporate retention and satisfaction scores
  • Number of high-quality meetings/pitches conducted monthly 

Work Environment 

  • Based in Banani, Dhaka with occasional travel to partner offices, events, or rural activations.
  • May include external meetings during evenings or weekends as per partner availability.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Impact, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in CSR engagement, sales/BD, corporate fundraising, or cause partnerships.
  • Track record of building and managing external relationships in a structured and professional manner.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills (verbal and written). 

Preferred Attributes  

  • Belief in long-term education as a social investment.
  • Fluent in Bangla and English; able to adapt tone for boardrooms and field visits alike.
  • High emotional intelligence, listening skills, and attention to detail.
  • Confident networker with knowledge of the Bangladesh CSR and SME landscape.
  • Comfortable managing multiple leads, follow-ups, and partnership documents.
