Position Summary

The Digital Investment Strategist will lead all digital efforts to acquire new child investors by designing, executing, and optimising innovative online campaigns. This role blends creativity with analytics, using storytelling, data, and targeted messaging to convert interest into long-term educational investment. The strategist will champion JAAGO’s belief that investing in a child’s education is one of the most powerful forms of impact investment.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Plan and manage end-to-end digital campaigns targeting individuals and diaspora communities, including social media, paid ads, email marketing, and website integration.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Team to co-create content (videos, visuals, stories) that builds emotional engagement and inspires action.
  • Build landing pages, design donor journeys, and develop nurturing flows that optimise sponsor acquisition.

Data Analytics & Optimisation 

  • Track campaign metrics (CTR, conversion, cost-per-investor, etc.) across channels and analyse performance weekly.
  • A/B test creatives, messaging, and formats to maximise impact and conversion.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to refine digital outreach based on data insights. 

Platform & Tool Management 

  • Work with IT and design teams to ensure the JAAGO website and CRM tools are optimised for investor acquisition.
  • Coordinate with platform partners (Meta, Google Ads, local influencers, etc.) for visibility and campaign boosts.
  • Maintain clean, segmented databases for targeted digital actions.

Internal Collaboration & Innovation 

  • Attend weekly strategy meetings with the Impact Investment team.
  • Stay up to date with digital fundraising trends in the nonprofit and social impact sectors.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions, especially around digital narratives, campaign names, and donor touchpoints. 

Performance Indicators 

  • Monthly and quarterly investor acquisition via digital platforms
  • Digital campaign conversion rate
  • Website traffic to investment page and bounce rate
  • Email open and click-through rates
  • Cost per acquired investor (digital channels) 

Work Environment 

  • Based in Banani, Dhaka.
  • May include some evening hours during campaign launches or peak digital engagement windows.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in digital fundraising, online campaign management, or lead generation.
  • Strong command of tools like Google Ads, Facebook Business Suite, Mailchimp/Sendinblue, and basic CMS systems.
  • Proven ability to create compelling content and execute digital ads with measurable success. 

Preferred Attributes  

  • Mission-aligned and passionate about using technology to drive social impact.
  • Both creative and analytical—can write copy and analyse data.
  • Fast learner and self-starter with high attention to detail.
  • Understands online behaviour of Bangladeshi and diaspora donors.
  • Strong command in both Bangla and English writing.
